By booking a bike or a tour with STRIM Mobility you accept the conditions below. They are written in plain language to keep things simple for everyone.
Booking & confirmation
Bookings are made through the chat on our website. A booking is confirmed only after explicit approval from STRIM Mobility. No prepayment is required to secure your slot.
Pricing
Pricing is per bike, not per person. Children riding on cargo bikes do not require an additional ticket. Helmets, child seats, teen seats and the safety briefing are always included. No security deposit is required.
Pick-up & return
Bikes are picked up and returned exclusively at our base. Please arrive 30 minutes before your start slot. Bikes must be returned by 8:00 PM the same day. Late returns may incur an additional fee.
Rider responsibility
Riders must respect the French Highway Code and local traffic rules. Standard earbuds and over-ear headphones are forbidden while cycling in France (Article R412-6-1). The bone-conduction headsets we provide are the legal exception. Children under 12 must wear a helmet.
The rider is responsible for any damage caused by misuse, negligence, or non-compliance with the safety briefing. Theft of the bike during the rental is the rider’s responsibility — please always lock the bike with the provided lock.
Cancellation
Please let us know by phone or via the website chat as soon as possible if you cannot make your slot, so we can offer the bikes to other riders. Tours may be rescheduled at our discretion in case of severe weather or safety concerns.
Liability
STRIM Mobility maintains professional liability insurance as required by French law. Our liability is limited to direct damages caused by our own fault, in accordance with applicable law.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Strasbourg.
